Job Summary
A Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization. This role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations to support the company’s growth and stability.
About the Role
Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize profitability and drive business growth.
Manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Conduct regular assessments of financial procedures and implement improvements as necessary
Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, and analyse financial data to provide actionable insights
Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of budgets.
Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Oversee tax planning and compliance and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Align financial goals with the overall business objectives
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies.
Monitor and control expenses to ensure financial efficiency
Offer financial advice and guidance to management on resource utilization, tax strategies, and budget forecasts
Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
A master’s degree or professional certifications such as ICAN, CPA, CFA, or ACCA are advantageous
Minimum 5 years of experience in finance management or a related field.
Functional Skills Requirement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.
In-depth understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
