Job Summary

The Accounts Officer is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

About the Role

  • Implement financial strategies to optimize profitability and drive business growth.

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.

  • Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and accounts.

  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning.

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.

  • Align financial goals with the overall business objectives

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies.

  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure financial efficiency

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Professional certifications such as ICAN, CPA, CFA, or ACCA are advantageous.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance management or a related field.

Functional Skills Requirement

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

  • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.

  • In-depth understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
